Complex Health claiming can be a difficult process, however, with some guidance and tips on how to effectively deal with these scenarios, you will be competent and confident in making ACFI Claims of all descriptions.
It is aimed at Care Managers, Registered or enrolled Nurses or any staff member who may be responsible for management of ACFI submissions.
At the end of the session, participants will be :
- Confident in identifying behaviours and claiming in ACFI claims
- Able to understand the complex health domain and claim
- Able to iron out problems experienced with validation claims to prevent future loss in funding from validation downgrades in ACFI’s
The workshop is being facilitated by Rhonda Dandie who is a clinical nurse with over two years ACFI experience. She has overseen more than 2,000 ACFI’s with successful ACFI validations. With an intimate knowledge of the ACFI legislation, she knows how to apply this in the most effective way.
She has witnessed the impact of poor planning, the effect on funding and the added pressure this places on the staff responsible for their ACFI claim. As such, Rhonda has a passion for supporting staff to make the right decisions to maximise their ACFI funding.
