‘THE GRAND PLAN’ TRAINING SESSION
The ACSWA Board has been developing our election strategy to maximise voter impact. We need take our messages down the line to staff, residents/clients, families, volunteers, etc.
We will have a two part strategy - firstly the national ‘Grand Plan’ to bring us together and secondly, we will have our own local strategy combined with The Grand Plan to deliver simple key messages and call to action for our local stakeholders.
The National part of the campaign preparation will be kicked off with a training course. ACSWA is working with the CCOA Operational Group to coordinate a campaign training course for the metro area and electronic information for regional members. Attached is a flyer outlining the details of the metro briefing session being held in Perth this Thursday, June 17.
The session, run by Sydney-based Open Haus consultant Jo Clark, has been designed to provide an overview of the national ‘Grand Plan’ and provide assistance in how best to make a point in the media using public relations skills and networking through social media.
Attendees can also use their newly acquired skills to train support staff to deliver training at a local or regional level.
ACSWA would appreciate you nominating someone from your organisation who can attend this training session and support the campaign in bringing the Grand Plan to life in the communities of Western Australia.
