Topic: IRCAS Accreditation Scheme Members Forum
As part of our strategic direction, ACSWA is working closely with the retirement living sector to support members' needs and help them to cater to increased demand. Retirement Living is an integral part of the aged care mix and with its growing importance we will be highlighting key issues and events that impact on the sector.
As a result, ACSWA's Housing and Retirement Living Committee have been discussing the possible introduction of a new Retirement Villages Accreditation Scheme for Western Australia.
We have arranged for Barry Ashcroft, head of the International Retirement Community Accreditation Scheme (IRCAS) to give a presentation to our members on this scheme on May 20. ACSA is a major partner in the IRCAS Scheme which is being rolled out nationally.
All members with find this presentation relevant, particularly those involved in Retirement Living. His talk on the scheme will be followed by a question and answer session and morning tea.
Date: Thursday, May 20
Time: 9.30am - 12 noon
Venue: 2 Brodie Hall Drive, Technology Park, Bentley
